ESTIMATED COST TO DO A SOLAR CONVERSION

    1. House all solar power. Engines diesel $60,000 2. House and one engine solar and one diesel $190,000 3. House and both engines solar. $4000,000   adding electric assist to both motors and solar may be the best option.  Then the user keeps the diesels for high speed but has smaller electric motors to travel all day at 6-8 knots.  Cost is about $150,000

All prices are estimates. Must price prior to starting conversion.

We have already converted a 44 Aquila to all solar 3 years ago and the owner has been enjoying the silent cruising ever since up to present time.
